On February, 23-26rd, 2010 41 session of the Statistical commission of Economic and Social Council of the United Nations took place in New York (USA). At session heads of statistical bodies more than 140 countries of the world have taken part. Within the limits of the agenda plans on development of statistical systems on various branches of statistics have been discussed, including questions of population censuses, statistics of an agriculture, an environment, international trade in the goods and services, employment, the industry, the finance and others are discussed.
At the given session from Republic Kazakhstan Chairman of Agency of Republic Kazakhstan according to Аlikhan Smailov has taken part. In the performance statement he has noted activity of republic in introduction of the international standards in various aspects of the ability to live, in т.г., for example, within the limits of system of national accounts. Аlikhan Smailov has paid attention of the Statistical commission of the United Nations to importance of the prompt access of statistical bodies of the CIS countries to new international standard SNA 2008 in Russian which is one of official languages of the United Nations.
