The draft law «About the  State Statistics»  was presented  in Majilis Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In Majilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan were presented bills «About the State Statistics» (new edition), and «About introducing amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on State Statistics» (companion bill) on June 22, 2009 year .

The bills are aimed at ensuring the confidentiality of respondents primary statistical data (to protect the interests of subjects of entrepreneurship), the use of statistical information only for statistical purposes, reducing the burden on respondents by the use of administrative data sources, providing users of reliable statistical information, enhance transparency of statistical activities and the efficient allocation of rights and responsibilities of all parties.

According to deputies, it is necessary to coordinate the activities of state bodies, in the collection of any data from the subjects of entrepreneurship. In other words, should be a single rigid system of statistical reporting. In addition, in the opinion of the people's elected representatives, public authorities in their efforts to use only the official statistics.
